Perform certification functions of technical evaluation and decision on certification according to the appropriate TCB procedures and FCC/IC regulations
Complete FCC/IC certification evaluation forms including risk assessment
To be assessed by an external TCB Accreditation Body at least every two years and to be present during at least one TCB Accreditation Body assessment every four years
Maintain records demonstrating training covering the authorized FCC/IC certification scopes.
Work with TCB Program Manager and TCB Administrator to coordinate technical evaluations and other activities.
Participate in training opportunities including conference calls with the FCC and TCB Workshops.
Education, experience, and competencies desired
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or equivalent,
Minimum 5 years of EMC Experience, including the testing of unintentional and intentional radiators
Familiarity with ISO 17065, KDB 447498, FCC Rules and RSS Standards
Attendance or trained to qualified FCC-ISED/TCB Council trainings
Attendance or trained to qualified TCB Council trainings in General RF safety, TCB RF exposure requirements preferably including SAR
