Senior Engineer with FCC fluency, Washington, DC   

THE ROLE

A nationally recognized law firm is adding a Senior Engineer to its telecoms group. If you have some of these qualifications, but not all, I would still love to speak with you. This is a challenging search.

WHAT THE PRACTICE NEEDS FROM YOU

• Substantial hands-on experience with the FCC's equipment authorization regime
• Fluency with TCBs, accredited test laboratories, and the full arc of getting a device approved
• A working sense of how authorization connects to the rest of the FCC's world — spectrum, licensing, enforcement

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU STAND OUT

• An engineering degree
• Government background: FCC (OET, Wireless, or PSHSB), Capitol Hill, or national security work at another agency

COMPENSATION

Base salary is anticipated at $295,000 – $345,000, with the final figure set by relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors. Excellent benefits package — details on request.
